NEW CANEY, Texas – An infant was removed from a home in New Caney after authorities found the child in what they described as ‘uninhabitable conditions’ after executing a search warrant in connection to an investigation into the promotion and distribution of child pornography.

When authorities came to the home, they found the conditions to be uninhabitable with animal urine and feces covering the floor.

“The conditions resulted in the dispatch of The Woodlands Fire Department’s HAZMAT team, as well as Child Protective Services. An infant was discovered in the home, along with several animals. The infant was removed from the home by CPS and the animals were safely removed by the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office and Montgomery County Animal Control,” the constable’s office said.

Three people were arrested as part of the investigation.

In addition, Frances Walker and Leigh Baker were charged with Animal Cruelty and Endangering a Child.

All three were taken to the Montgomery County Jail. Robert Walker is being held on a $170,500 bond. Francis Walker and Leigh Baker are being held on a $25,750 bond.
