Police say he’s responsible for five aggravated robberies between May 14 and June 24.
The robbery on June 24 happened in the afternoon at a Circle K convenience store in Harris County.
The investigating officer said in court documents that Albert went into the store and initially went up to the counter with some Arizona Iced tea. The clerk told him they had a deal going on where he could get two teas for $4. He said no and left the store.
About two minutes later, documents state Albert came back inside and said he would like to take advantage of the deal. He went to the back of the store, put on a black mask and then pointed a stainless-steel semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and her co-worker.
Albert is accused of demanding money, holding the gun just inches from one woman’s head. The woman put money from both registers, about $215, into a bag.
The gunman then demanded more money from the store’s safe and the clerk told him there was no more money in the safe.
Documents say Albert left the store with the $215.
We expect to learn more about the other robberies from police during Friday afternoon’s briefing.
Alberts, who has 3 robbery charges from 2013, is being held with no bond.
