A late-night pool party in west Houston turned violent in the early hours of Monday morning, ending in two men being shot.
The incident happened around 12:50 a.m. at the 10940 block of Meadowglen when an altercation broke out at the noisy gathering. According to reports, the altercation escalated when an individual, who was disturbed by the ongoing party, came out and opened fire on the attendees. Both victims were shot in the buttocks.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and the two men were transported to a nearby hospital. Both victims are expected to survive their injuries.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident.
