CenterPoint Energy executive ‘no longer with the company,’ according to email

HOUSTON – Major leadership changes are underway with CenterPoint Energy, with one of its senior executives now out of a job.

In an email sent to KPRC 2 reporter Gage Goulding, Lyanne Wilson, who served as Senior Vice President of Electric Business for the energy giant, “is no longer with the company.”

SUGGESTED: Did CenterPoint do enough to clear trees in Houston before Hurricane Beryl?

A spokesperson shared the following note on Wilson’s replacement but did not share details on why she was ousted.

“Lynnae Wilson is no longer with the company. Darin Carroll, Senior Vice President, Natural Gas Business, has been named Senior Vice President, Electric Business. Darin will lead all areas of Houston Electric and Indiana Electric, serving approximately 2.9 million metered customers across the Greater Houston and southwestern Indiana areas. He has held diverse leadership roles in electric and natural gas with CenterPoint and its predecessor companies.”
