National Nonprofit Day is August 17, but here are some Houston-area organizations you can support all-year-round!

HOUSTON – National Nonprofit Day is Saturday, August 17, but it doesn’t mean that should be the only day we remember to help out our neighbors in need.

No matter what cause you’re passionate about, each is important and worth raising awareness for. That’s why KPRC 2 has compiled a list of just some of the dozens of Houston-area nonprofits people can turn to to donate, volunteer, or just spread the word.
