Suspect allegedly high on PCP shoots man in eye, points gun at another in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A suspect was taken to the hospital and will eventually be taken to jail after authorities said he shot a man in the eye while he was high on drugs.

The Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office said the incident happened in the 7800 block of Bayou Forest Drive.

The constable’s office said there were three people riding in the back of a truck. At one point, one of the men, allegedly high on PCP, pulled a gun and shot a man in the eye. He also allegedly pointed the gun at another person in the back of the truck.

Other details are limited at this time, but the constable’s office says the victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

The suspect is also in the hospital, but will be taken to the Harris County Jail after he is released. He will be charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
