HOUSTON – The motives of a 20-year-old woman are under investigation after the fatal stabbing of a 71-year-old man, according to the Houston Police Department.
Alexis Maria Miller has been charged with murder in the death of Christos Simopoulos.

What happened
Simopoulos was found suffering from multiple stab wounds at an apartment complex, located in the 2009 block of Colquitt Street, at about 7:35 p.m. on July 2.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Further investigation identified Miller as the suspect in this case and, on Aug. 20, a murder charge was filed.
Miller was arrested on Aug. 23 by officers with the HPD Crime Reduction Unit without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
