HOUSTON – A man was left in critical condition Monday after being shot following a fight between two women in Houston.
Houston police officers responded to the shooting at 2205 Russell St. at around 11 a.m.

During the fight between the two women, one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other woman’s brother in the chest, investigators learned.
He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A possible suspect was detained, but no further information on age or identity has been released.
The cause of the fight or how it escalated was not detailed.
