HOUSTON – A crash is under investigation after a person was fatally struck by a vehicle in southwest Houston.
The crash was reported at about 10 a.m. at 6425 South Gessner Rd. near Harwin Drive.

Police said the driver of the white Nissan sedan who struck the person was questioned at the scene.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area as crews investigate and clear the scene.
It is unknown if any charges will be filed.
