Person dies after being shot, driven to hospital in W Houston

A person has died after being shot in west Houston Saturday night.

The shooting was reported just before 8 p.m. and occurred at 1701 Johanna Dr.

After being shot, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in a personal vehicle. However, they tragically succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators believe the shooting happened in an empty parking lot and involved multiple people firing weapons at each other.
