Houston police are searching for a person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman found in her southwest Houston apartment.
27-year-old Kenia Guardado Molina was found at her apartment at the 9898 block of Forum Park Drive around 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 1.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan, family members became concerned after not hearing from Guardado Molina and learning she had not picked up her child from the babysitter.

On Tuesday morning, they entered her apartment and discovered her body. She had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
Authorities have released surveillance video showing a man, described as a person of interest, who was seen walking with the victim toward her apartment the previous morning on Sept. 30. Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this man.
