Houston’s 10,000 Black Men Rally calls for community empowerment, unity

The steps of Houston City Hall will host a significant gathering on Sunday as 10,000 Black men come together for the 10,000 Black Men of Greater Houston Rally.

This non-partisan event, led by Elite Change, Inc., will spotlight the resilience, unity, and positive influence of Black men in Houston, highlighting their dedication to family, community, and collective progress.

The event will take place at 3 p.m.

The rally, which encourages women and families to attend in support, seeks to reaffirm Black men’s essential roles within their communities, showcasing their everyday contributions to family life, local neighborhoods, and the broader Houston area.

According to Dallas S. Jones, President and CEO of Elite Change, Inc. and convener of the rally, the event is designed to send a powerful message about the importance of unity.
