Harris County authorities warn drivers to be cautious as roads remain wet

As Harris County is hit by widespread thunderstorms and inclement weather, officials are warning drivers to take extra caution on the wet and slick roadways.

Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman said that his deputies are currently responding to multiple car crashes as a result of the weather.

He provided information on one such crash, which occurred in the 7000 block of Spring Stuebner Road near N Grand Parkway W.

Constable Herman advises that drivers keep their eyes on the road at all times and implement their headlights along with their windshield wipers to increase visibility for themselves and other drivers.
