HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating after a man's body was found in a ditch in north Harris County Tuesday morning.
A surveying crew found the body in the 300 block of Gulf Bank around 7:45 a.m.

The Medical Examiner's Office confirms the 40-year-old victim, Kirk Douglas Williams, was struck by a vehicle either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. A backpack was near the body.
