HOUSTON – The Houston Astros will visit the White House March 12 to be celebrated as World Series champions, the team announced Thursday.
A visit to 1600 Pennsylvania is a tradition for sports champions.
The Astros have an off day that day and will travel from Spring Training in West Palm Beach to Washington, D.C. to meet President Donald Trump.
Former 'Stros player Carlos Beltran said he will not attend the visit, according to NBC Sports.
