Finally got to see the COMET NEOWISE ... Friday evening July 17. Photo taken at Brazos Bend State park, standing in the parking lot of the George Observatory. Exactly as you said: NW sky, just above treeline, under the Big Dipper at approximately 9:15 PM - Beautiful Night for star gazing. Only 45 min South of the City where it's dark enough to see some awesome stars.
