Texans sign 3rd-round pick Braxton Miller to 4-year contract

HOUSTON – In this era of the NFL the signing of rookie contracts is a foregone conclusion as are the salaries that are slotted to the player and the round in which they were taken.  The Texans continue to chip away at their list and Thursday KPRC Sports confirmed they signed 3rd round pick Braxton Miller.

The receiver from Ohio State is officially on board after agreeing to and signing a four year contract. Miller is adjusting to the NFL life during the Texans offseason program.  He is a former Quarterback who excelled in the Big 10 Conference  but moved over to the Buckeyes receiving corp last season.  He’s now ready to prove he can take his game to a new level and make an impact with the Texans.

With Miller’s deal done, the Texans now continue to work on top pick Will Fuller’s deal.   OTA’s continue  at NRG Park with Mini Camp slated for June 14-16.
