J.J. Watt and Kealia Ohai:
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Houston Dash star forward Kealia Ohai made their relationship public in October 2016.
Ohai confirmed their relationship in early October on the 2 Up Front podcast.
Since then, the couple has been spotted cuddling on Instagram, holding hands at basketball games and supporting each other through difficult times, including when Watt recently broke his leg in a Texans game. Instagram pic
Carlos Correa and Daniella Rodriguez:
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa and his girlfriend, former Miss Texas USA 2016, Daniella Rodriguez are one of the newest “it” couples in Houston sports since Correa proposed on live television following the World Series win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Rodriguez and Correa made their relationship public in 2016 on Instagram, according to People.
Since then, the couple has been seen out and about at concerts and in Halloween costumes, and most recently at Dodger’s Stadium following their engagement and taking a victory lap at Disney World and beyond. No announcements have been made about when the couple plans to wed.
Justin Verlander and Kate Upton:
Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are definitely one of the newest Houston sports couples on our radar, but also one of the brightest to burst on the scene.
The Houston Astros pitcher and model were engaged throughout the Astros winning season and recently said their “I dos” in a lavish Italian wedding ceremony. Verlander proposed in 2016, but the couple didn’t reveal their engagement until the 2016 Met Gala later that year.
Upton supported Verlander in Houston and on the road, wearing an iconic, hard-to-find sweater that quickly became a hot item in Houston and beyond.
Photos of the couple’s kiss after the wedding went viral, as did a photo of their wedding, released on their individual Instagram pages.
Jose Altuve and Giannina Altuve:
Astros star second baseman Jose Altuve and wife Giannina “Nina” Altuve are more low-key with their love, but not about their pride in their sweet family.
Melanie A. Altuve was born in November 2016, and the couple took the time to celebrate her birthday as the World Series continued. ]
Jose and Giannina have been married for 11 years this month.
George Springer and Charlise Castro:
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer and former softball star Charlise Castro are engaged and planning to marry in January 2018, according to a report.
Castro is a former college softball player and also for the Puerto Rico national team.
Springer proposed to Castro in December 2016 in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico.
Chris Paul and Jada Crawley:
Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul and Jada Crawley were married in October 2011. The couple has two children, Chris II and Cameron Alexis. Frequently on Instagram, CP3 posts photos with his wife and family.
