HOUSTON – Since winning the World Series for the first time in franchise history, the Houston Astros have reaped the benefits of their triumph -- a trip to Disneyland, guest spots on NBC’s "Saturday Night Live" and appearances on morning and late-night talk shows.
The team also earned quite a monetary bonus with their World Series win, Major League Baseball announced Monday.
League officials said that a full postseason share for the 2017 World Series championship Astros was worth a record $438,901.57.

The team issued 60 full shares, 9.23 partial shares and four cash awards. Their share of the players’ pool totaled $30,420,155.57.
With such a young group of players, nine of the 25 players on the Astros' World Series roster had contracts worth less than $555,000 for the 2017 season, including shortstop Carlos Correa and third baseman Alex Bregman.
The roughly $438,000 bonus nets those players nearly an additional 80 percent of their season salary.
