HOUSTON – The Texans worked out former Buffalo Bills offensive guard Ike Boettger, per a league source.
Boettger, 29, is a former Iowa player.
Boettger was most recently with the Detroit Lions and has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs.
He has started 17 of 36 career games.
A former undrafted free agent, Boettger tore his Achilles tendon while playing for Buffalo in 2021.
He was signed by the Lions in July and released this week by Detroit.
