HOUSTON – The Texans worked out defensive end Trajan Jeffcoat, linebacker Tarron Jackson and offensive guard Matthew Jones, per a league source.
Jeffcoat is a former New Orleans Saints undrafted free agent who played collegiately at Missouri and Arkansas.
Waived-injured in August with a dislocated elbow, Jeffcoat is healthy now.
Jackson is a former Philadelphia Eagles sixth-round draft pick from Coastal Carolina. He has spent time on the Carolina Panthers practice squad.
Jackson (6-foot-2, 254 pounds) was released from the Eagles in August. He has 18 tackles and one career sack.
