HOUSTONTexans rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter practiced Friday for the second day in a row and is ready for a Sunday road game against the Tennessee Titans.

Lassiter, a second-round draft pick from Georgia who has had a strong rookie season with three interceptions, missed a Wednesday practice with a quadriceps injury.

He was upgraded to full participation Friday and is good to go.

In 13 starts, having missed some time with a fractured scapula in October in addition to a concussion, Lassiter has established himself as a reliable coverage presence and as a tackler. He has recorded 10 passes defensed with 57 tackles, four for losses and brought down Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry for a safety by tackling him in the end zone for the Texans’ only points in a Christmas Day 31-2 loss.

Lassiter has allowed 32 completions on 73 targets, a 43.8 completion percentage, for 424 yards, four touchdowns and a 64.0 opposing quarterback rating.

Although Lassiter has played some nickel with Jimmie Ward and Jalen Pitre out for the season, he has primarily lined up recently at outside corner with Myles Bryant filling in as the new primary nickel.

Meanwhile, offensive guard Shaq Mason, defensive end Denico Autry, cornerback Jeff Okudah and defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi remain out of practice and were officially ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Mason has a Grade 2 sprained medial collateral ligament suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs with an original recovery time estimated at three to four weeks, per league sources.

Autry has a lingering knee injury. He has played in games after not practicing all week in the past, but sitting out against his former team and resting up for the playoffs makes too much sense.

Okudah practiced once on a limited basis this week and is in the NFL concussion protocol.

Fatukasi has an ankle injury and has been limited to 11 games this season with 34 tackles, four for losses, and one sack.

Texans linebackers Christian Harris (ankle) and Jamal Hill (hamstring) are questionable.

Starting right guard Juice Scruggs participated fully and is back from a foot injury as he’ll return to action Sunday against the Titans after getting hurt against the Jacksonville Jaguars and missing the past three games.
