Expect big delays and road closures this weekend for the Houston Marathon.

After two years of hosting their annual Sickle Cell 10K, 5K and 1K ace on a virtual platform, the Houston-based “As One Foundation” is happy to announce that the 2022 race will be in person again.

Grab the fam! This 5K run is 3.2 miles, and there will be runners from 9 to 70 years old!

Since June, they've worked tirelessly, relentlessly and impressively to carve their own paths toward November's Cross Country state meet in Round Rock.

Registration for the 2022 Houston Marathon Weekend of Events opens to all runners today, June 2.
