The 2024 Houston Sports Awards, presented by TDECU, honors both professional and high school athletes and includes the induction of the newest class into the Houston Sports Hall of Fame.

The Houston Sports Awards are right around the corner and five phenomenal athletes relatively new to the Bayou City are up for a big honor. The event celebrates Houston’s sports legends, as well as the rising star rookies already making their mark on our city and their teams. Five young players are nominated for Newcomer of the Year, but only one will win.
