After last week's storm, the two organizations are coming together to provide immediate care, and help facilitate adoptions to find as many safe, fur-ever homes as possible.

BARC, the City of Houston's Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, has launched the 2021 "Home for the Holidays" campaign, which includes holiday-themed adoption, wellness, and foster events to help promote our furry friends at BARC and support Houston pet owners.

HOUSTON – 2021 is the perfect year to become a pet parent and help relieve some of the stress from 2020 and BARC Animal Shelter can help make that happen. BARC is the City of Houston’s Animal Shelter and Adoption Facility. BARC Animal Shelter is dedicated to pet adoption and a live release initiative. They also collaborate and coordinate with the Houston Pet Rescue groups and through social media networks to cast the widest possible adoption net.
