29-year-old Darwin Amaya-Gabrieles was arrested and put behind bars after he was caught red-handed with a gun in his hand by a Harris County Precinct Four Deputy, after investigators say he had been firing that weapon into the air right outside an apartment complex along Kuykendahl Road.

Officials in the Houston area want those enjoying the Fourth of July holiday to remember one thing: There’s nothing ‘celebratory’ about open ranged gunfire.
