An 18-year-old has been charged after reportedly bringing a 3D-printed gun onto a Houston Independent School District campus this week.

The ACLU of Texas, the Houston NAACP and other groups say the takeover is a violation of the Voting Rights Act and the U.S. Constitution.

HOUSTON – A former student at Cesar Chavez High School claims in a lawsuit filed against the Houston Independent School District that he was sexually assaulted by a fellow student. “He was repeatedly raped in a bathroom by another student at HISD and he reported this to his teacher,” Feldman said. AdFeldman said HISD’s position seems to call in to question the former student’s credibility because of his disability. In this case, it is alleged that a student was sexually assaulted by another student and that a teacher was aware of the harm but did nothing in response. It is HISD’s position that the minimum legal requirements for a claim under Title IX have not been met in this case.

HOUSTON The curbside summer meal site at Cesar Chavez High School in southwest Houston will be closed Monday due to a possible case of coronavirus, the Houston Independent School District announced Sunday. The district said the site will remain closed until further notice. Another site at Nathaniel Q.
