Keona Mouton, 17, made her first court appearance weeks after a judge ruled that she would be tried as an adult. According to authorities, Mouton – who was 16 at the time – is accused of luring Mack to an apartment complex near Lamar High School, where Mack was shot at least seven times, execution-style. According to prosecutors, Mouton was texting one of the men who is accused of killing Mack. In court Monday, the judge set conditions for Mouton’s bail, which was set at $450,000.

According to investigators, Mack left the school at lunchtime on Nov. 13, 2018, and walked to a nearby apartment complex with two female classmates. The teenage girl, who was 16 years old at the time, told Mack and the other girl that she had to leave, investigators said. Investigators have said they believe Mack’s death was part of a gang war. KPRC 2 will not make the identity of the teenage girl charged in Mack’s death public unless she is charged as an adult.
