The Hornets’ reopening plan has been approved by state and county authorities and allows the team to host fans at 15% capacity, approximately 3,000 per game. “We are excited about the opportunity to welcome more fans to our outdoor venues,” the university said in a written statement. AdTuesday night’s game will be the first game with fans in attendance at PPG Paints Arena since last March.

Byte a Modern Bistro partnered with a new nonprofit organization called DeLand Dishes Back and serves the free meal to anyone who needs it. “If you come in and say you want the free meal, we’re not going to ask why,” said restaurant owner Wes Harrolle. Forget about anything that’s going on in their lives maybe for an hour.”Harrolle said the idea started in May out of the blue. DeLand Dishes Back gives out free meals on the last Monday of every month.
