HOUSTON – Dave Rojas, better known as “Downtown Dave” and founding member of the Big Hat Posse, died Friday morning after a battle with cancer and COVID-19, according to social media posts from his family members and others. “He put up a great fight and can now rest in peace,” Mark wrote in his Facebook post.
