Arnaldo Richards Picos is doing just that with decorated altars, cocktails and traditional food including the bread of the dead. Another great tradition many take part in during the Holiday celebrated November 1st and 2nd is painted their faces in skull designs. They do this to represent a deceased loved one or an expression of themselves. One local makeup artist, Edward Sanchez has been doing this for years and has a wide range of designs for people to get creative with.
