A Houston ISD elementary school was forced to close its doors Wednesday due to what the district called an “HVAC system outage.” The school has since reopened, but it’s one of several HISD campuses KPRC 2 has been covering that have had A/C-related issues.

We get this question a lot when the temperatures reach 100+, “When are we going to see some relief from this crazy heat??” Sometimes, we wish we could snap our fingers and instantly make it cooler, but it IS Texas and it IS August so we’re stuck with it.
