In the 27th minute, Fabrice-Jean Picault headed in a book pass from Andrés Ricaurte. Piicault added one more in the 93rd for the final margin. Quintero rolled a left-footer just inside the post in the 20th minute. Houston's Maruo Manotas was shown a straight red card for a serious foul in first-half stoppage time and the Dynamo played a man down the rest of the way. Houston (4-5-7) snapped six-game winless streak dating to a 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 5. It was the 30-year-old midfielder's first goal of the season and the fifth of his career.

But on Wednesday, fans will return to live major league sports in Texas: FC Dallas, the Major League Soccer team, will host Nashville SC in a match in front of potentially thousands of spectators. The other big professional team sports leagues currently in action the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League have been playing in front of empty seats. FC Dallas did not participate, however, because about 12 players and one coach tested positive for coronavirus before their first match. The Dallas Beer Guardians, an FC Dallas supporters group, said it won't be hosting tailgates or organizing watch parties upon the team's return.

Houston will host their in-state rivals, FC Dallas, on Friday, August 21. It will be the first match played at BBVA in over five months. I think they did a great job and it helped them in their transition now to their home markets. Teams will take chartered flights, and for the majority of road trips will arrive in the host market on matchday and depart after the match later that evening.
