The choice -- Nick Caserio, a longtime director of player personnel for the New England Patriots. Now that Caserio is on board, names surfacing to fill that position include Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who interviewed on Tuesday with the Texans. Caserio has been rising in the ranks with New England for 20 years and held his personnel role for the past 13 seasons. In all, Caserio has been a part of six Super Bowl-winning Patriots teams during his stay in New England.

While they finish their final three weeks, the search for a new Head Coach and General Manager continues for CEO Cal McNair. According to an NFL source with knowledge of the process, McNair and his search committee that includes Texans President Jamey Rootes are interviewing popular ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick. Riddick, who will also reportedly interview this week for the open GM slot in Detroit, is a former NFL player and front office guy. Riddick played in the NFL as a safety for eight years between 1991-1998 with San Francisco, Atlanta, Cleveland and Oakland.
