One firefighter was injured and several residents were displaced after a blaze broke out in north Harris County Wednesday night.

A dozen residents, some suffering serious medical issues, were removed from a boarding home Thursday due to unsafe living conditions, according to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Two people are dead and two people were transported to the hospital after a fire that spread to multiple mobile homes in northeast Harris County Monday, the Sheldon Fire Department said.

KLEIN, Texas – Several people were injured Friday in a large natural gas explosion and fire near Klein that prompted an evacuation of some residents in the area. Officials from the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office said that a crew from Comcast was working in the area and nicked a natural gas line. The crew called in a CenterPoint crew to inspect the line which is when two lines exploded, officials said. CROSBY, Texas – Two Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office Inspectors who shut down a Crosby Tanning Salon will be disciplined for violating a Harris County Order and department policy when they visited the location. The inspectors ultimately did not cite Givans for violating any order, but rather shuttered the business based on a paperwork technicality. "HCFMO has been working with Island Tanz to help walk the business owner through the appropriate procedure in obtaining the appropriate permits.
