HOUSTON – As Texas continues to reopen, many areas, including the greater Houston area, have seen a slow climb in the number of new coronavirus cases reported each day and coronavirus-related hospitalizations. Since Memorial Day, the state has also seen increases in the number of people testing positive for the virus. He also said Texas has “abundant” hospital capacity at present the goal is to keep it that way. Drive-thru testing for COVID-19 is available throughout Houston and across the state, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
