KPRC 2 is teaming up with the Cody Stephens Foundation, Houston Christian University, and Memorial Hermann Southwest to provide free in-depth heart screenings for young people across the Houston area.

KPRC 2 and our Community partners at Energy Transfer and Houston Christian University are shining a spotlight on The Cody Stephens Foundation. The heart screenings, which detect issues that may not be identified in routine physical exams, have potentially saved more than 200 young lives.

On Sunday, KPRC 2 is partnering with the Cody Stephens Foundation and Harris County Emergency Services District 11 to offer free, in-depth heart screenings for children aged 11 to 22.

This year, KPRC 2 will be joining the Cody Stephens Foundation, Alief Independent School District, and the community fire department to host a FREE, in-depth heart screening for teenage athletes to be examined.
