A 54-year-old man was northbound on Interstate 45 near Interstate 610 at 7:50 a.m. when he had a medical episode, police said. According to police, the man was driving a gray Hyundai Sonata and was unable to keep his car in his lane. The car struck a gray van. The Hyundai hit the center wall and started moving south before striking a yellow Dodge van, which had stopped after the initial crash.
