The 66-year-old Miles announced last week that routine testing had returned a positive test. “Coach Miles is doing well and has been cleared to leave isolation," Kansas team physician Dr. Larry Magee said in a statement. Miles isn't the only head coach to test positive for the virus. Alabama's Nick Saban and Arizona's Kevin Sumlin recently returned positive tests.

In Tallahassee, Florida, deputy head coach Chris Thomsen is taking over Norvell's duties, but the first-year Florida State head coach said he still intends to contribute. Toledo coach Jason Candle and UCLA coach Chip Kelly tested positive earlier this year.
