Owner Sharon Weiss says after being hit by Covid-19, they decided it was time to close the shop down for good. Joe Sam was born May 9, 1925 in Kemp, Texas and served as a WWII veteran. He was encouraged to open a fun shop to match his creative and outgoing personality and that’s exactly what he did opening the doors to Joe Sam’s Fun shop in 1982 with a wide variety of costumes and accessories for infants/toddlers, children, teens, and adults.
