The Lobos will try and reach their first Regional tournament since the 2016-2017 campaign. Perkins averaged an impressive 16.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. First-team, all-district pick Saija Cleveland is also back. As a sophomore she averaged 11.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Look the other way there was the Class 6A State Runner-Up Cypress Creek Cougars. Then there was George Ranch, Langham Creek, Atascocita, Foster, Summer Creek, North Shore and the list goes on and on of quality teams and talent on display. "It's definitely good for the girls game," Cypress Creek senior Rori Harmon, a Texas-commit, said. In one of the final games of the evening, Cypress Creek played Village School, which pitted Harmon against Jada Malone, a Texas A&M-commit.
