Metallica, Mariah Carey and The Jonas Brothers will headline a free concert in New York’s Central Park to mark the 10th anniversary of the Global Citizen Festival on Sept. 24.

HOUSTON Metallica is donating $50,000 in scholarship money to Lone Star College students in high-demand programs. This is the second year in a row Metallica has provided scholarships to students attending Lone Star College. Lone Star College is one of several colleges and universities across the country receiving support from the legendary band.
