A Mexican American artist is working on a new mural during Hispanic Heritage Month that showcases famous Mexican boxing legends along with an aspiring one.

On Nov. 1 and 2, millions will be commemorating the Mexican holiday Día De Los Muertos, where families and friends gather together to pray for and remember their loved ones who have passed.

They’re Tish Hinojosa, Stephanie Urbina Jones and Patricia Vonne, known as The Texicana Mamas. The Texicana Mamas are a cross-cultural musical fusion. Navarro apparently didn't know Thiessen, but targeted him because he was white, said Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt. Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Robert Wirtz set bail at $1 million during an initial court appearance Thursday. SAN ANTONIO, Texas Selena Quintanilla is a Texas treasure, so to offer a class that explores the Queen of Tejanos life and career is only fitting. The class, created by Sonya Alemn, will be called Selena: A Mexican American Identity and Experience and will examine how the life and career of Selena Quintanilla-la Reina de Tejano music-embodies the historical trajectory of the Mexican American identity and experience in Texas, according to the University of Texas at San Antonio class description. I cant believe that it hasnt been done yet in San Antonio. Its almost a no-brainer that it would be about her and we would be here.The class will be offered starting in the fall 2020 semester.
