Six people were shot during a robbery on Brownstone Lane in southwest Houston in 1992

Thirty-one years after the murders of four people inside a southwest Houston home, one of the men convicted of the crime was executed in Huntsville. Arthur Brown, Jr. was one of three men convicted of what was dubbed the “Brownstone Lane Murders.”

In June 1992, six people were shot inside a southwest Houston home in what police believe was a drug-related robbery.

Emotions were high Friday as family and friends gathered outside the 351st District Court room demanding justice, hoping that an execution date be set for Arthur Brown, who was convicted three decades ago in the brutal execution-style murders of four people, including a pregnant teen.
