The College Football Playoff won’t swap kickoff dates and times for the Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl to give Notre Dame more time between games.

The executive director of the new 12-team College Football Playoff suggested that while wins and the age-old “eye test” will play a role in determining who makes the bracket, strength of schedule also will be a major factor in the selection committee’s deliberations.
