The Drive-in off Navigation is set to open Thursday. Tickets are $5 per vehicle up to two occupants, and $10 per vehicle for three or more occupants. Tickets for The Drive-In off Navigation are available starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday and cost between $22-$36 per vehicle, depending on vehicle occupancy and the day of screening. These are the featured February films:Feb. 3: “Father of the Bride,” “50 First Dates”Feb. 4: “Romeo & Juliet,” “Friday the 13th”.

The new drive-in movie theater officially dubbed the The Drive-In off Navigation is located at 2300 Runnels St. in Houston’s East Downtown Management District, commonly referred to as EaDo. During the event, the venue will unveil the largest drive-in screen in the city at 64 feet, according to a press release. The Drive-In off Navigation will open with Jurassic Park at 7:30 pm, followed by Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy at 10:30 pm. The Drive-In off Navigation replaces Space City Shows, a pop-up drive-in movie experience opened in September.

For a late-night-date-night Sunday through Thursday, the venue offers $20-per-vehicle tickets (for 2 people) for all 9:45 and 10:15 p.m. screenings. Every Sunday night, the venue offers tickets for only $5 per vehicle for the 9:30 and 10:15 p.m. show. The drive-in cinema has yet to announce its new location, which is slated to open in December.

The outdoor cinema, called “The Drive-In at Spring" will open Friday and will allow guests to have a contactless cinema experience from their vehicles. Similar to the Sawyer Yards theater, the Spring venue opens with two screenings every night of the week. Ticket pricing will start at $28 per vehicle, regardless of occupancy and guests have the option to bring their own snacks, order from the Rooftop Cinema concessions stand or from their partner The Burger Joint food truck, that will be located on-site. The cinema will also have community screenings with a small $5 donation per vehicle that will also be available at the new venue to help those impacted by COVID-19.
