The distribution site is at St. John’s Downtown Houston every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is also offering free COVID-19 testing. “Now, we are taking another step forward with the mental health of our community by putting caseworkers on the ground. That’s where we will specialize,” Rasmus said. “Right now what you are seeing is 700 people coming through this line to get fresh food through our partnership with the Houston Foodbank,” said Owens.
