Seth Henigan passed for 284 yards and three touchdowns and Jeyvon Ducker ran for two touchdowns as Memphis beat Utah State 38-10 in the First Responder Bowl.

Michael Pratt threw for a touchdown and ran for another, Tyjae Spears ran for 125 yards and another score and No. 25 Tulane celebrated its first Top 25 ranking since 1998 with a dominant first half and hung on to beat Memphis 38-28.

Clayton Tune threw for 264 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score as No. 17 Houston extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 31-13 victory over Memphis.

Seth Henigan was effective with the ball, connecting for four touchdown passes, and the defense forced four turnovers to completely shut down the Cedar Park offense. Ryan jumped out to a 10-0 lead then Cedar Park followed up with a touchdown and two-point conversion to make it 10-8. Ryan now leads Cedar Park 24-8 with 5:36 left in the second quarter. And when Cedar Hill needed the points the most, Ryan wasn't having it. That’s three turnovers for Cedar Park in the first half.

Denton ISD is home to both the Denton Ryan Raiders and the Denton Guyer Wildcats who have a shared goal: returning to the biggest stage in Texas high school football. Denton Ryan fell just short in 2019 dropping 28-22 in the UIL 5A Division I Championship game to Shadow Creek. Since that loss, the Raiders have posted an undefeated season going 13-0 overall and 7-0 to finish first in district. Denton Guyer played a rough game in the 2019 6A Division II UIL State Championship match against Austin Westlake. Since failing to score in the state title game, Guyer has posted an 11-2 overall season finishing second in district with a 5-1 district record.
