We got another helping of San Antonio rankings! East Central and McCollum were on the outside looking in this week, but good weeks this week could see them in next weeks rankings. VYPE SAN ANTONIO 1A-4A TOP 10Just like in the Austin area, the san Antonio 1A-4A Top 10 sees 3 main takeaways:1- Navarro and Boerne swap places with Boerne's loss to Central Catholic. This school that's on the fringe of San Antonio boundaries is currently 10-6. VYPE SAN ANTONIO PRIVATE SCHOOL TOP 5​Similar to Austin's Private Schools, San Antonio's doesn't see anyone drop out of the rankings, though Antonian tumbles from 1 to 3 with losses to Boerne and Churchill.

AdBowie jumps to 6 over McCallum with the Knights loss to Dripping Springs. Dripping Springs and Hays. Some will argue that because Dripping Springs beat McCallum they should be ranked somewhere. We could easily see both Hays and Dripping Springs in the rankings next week. VYPE ATX PRIVATE SCHOOL TOP 10No movement on this weeks Private School Rankings for Austin.

HOUSTON The Harris County Senior Softball players arent letting COVID-19 stop them from staying active. The seniors love softball, and it keeps them fit. Shugar is one of many people over the age of 80 playing in the league. Weve made lifelong friends and associations, Jo Hale said of her and her husband Bill, who both play. Its what keeps us going, and its what keeps us healthy, Hale said.

HOUSTON – Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros has created an online, video-based feedback platform, Swing Review. He will critique and teach swing mechanics to young baseball and softball players. “I am passionate about swing mechanics and helping youth,” he said. Bregman will provide detailed feedback on swings each week and provided advanced swing mechanics taught at the MLB level. “As a young player I was constantly exposed to older, more advanced players – it pushed me to be better,” Bregman said.

HOUSTON – A Pearland softball coach is charged after being accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old player, court records show. According to the court documents, Morgan would pick up the girl and take her to batting cages at 5 Tool Sports Hitting & Training in Pearland. The girl’s mother reported to police that Morgan kissed her daughter on the mouth and used his tongue on multiple occasions, per court documents. The mother told police she questioned the girl and that’s when she told her about the kissing. When questioned by the police, Morgan admitted to kissing the chid but said he never used his tongue, per court documents.
