Parents and students of the Katy Independent School District said they were met with confusion Monday on what was supposed to be the start of summer classes.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the education of students across the country. Now, school districts across the Greater Houston area are laying out their plans to help students get back on track.

KPRC2 wanted to know what local school districts are planning to help failing students or to assist students that regressed over the last school year. We sent out a poll to all area school districts.
